Arthritis: Women Suffer More

Women are more prone than men to suffer from rheumatoid arthritis, according to new data released. Female patients reported feeling more symptoms such as pain and fatigue, even suffering the same level of disease than men.
The studies were conducted with more than 6000 patients from 25 different countries. It was known that the disease is more common in women than in men, and the last study showed that women suffer more symptoms.
The only tool for scientists to measure levels of arthritis are the X-rays, which measure the damage, not the symptoms. And while it was found that women suffer more, that they are the weaker sex is questionable because they are also the most prone to talk about the pain they feel and acknowledge that they are not good.
The studies are continuing, although it seems that it is we who suffer a more severe rheumatoid arthritis.
