Acute headaches
Belladonna
Throbbing pain, aggravated by noise, with shaking, lying down or bending over. The patient has a red face and dry, with dilated pupils and usually fever.
Bryonia
Pain in the right side, worse when moving head or eyes and better with pressure. Usually associated with respiratory infections and cough, which worsens the pain. It is one of the remedies used in migraines.
China sulphurica
Pain in the occipital area that spans the entire head with sweat on the head. Improves with cold applications and worse turning the head or eyes to the side, gets worse with the fresh air. It is accompanied by nausea and great flatulence.
Gelsemium
Headaches flu, with dullness. It occurs in temperate and humid weather, with pain in the extremities, hot and cold sensation, chills along the spine. Absence of thirst, even with fever, drowsiness. Improved urination.
Glonoinum
Congestive headache, sometimes in the heat of the sun. Worse when bending over.
Iris versicolor.
Frontal headache, with sensation as if the head is being oppressed with nausea and bilious vomiting. May appear after intellectual exhaustion or relax. Worse with rest and is relieved with exercise. Migraines.
Magnesia phos
Nerve-type pain. Appears cold, nervous exhaustion and emotions is exacerbated by cold air, touch, from 9 to 11 am or 4 to 8 pm. Improvement in the heat and firm pressure.
Bloodroot
Periodic headaches that appear in the morning and afternoon relieved. Migraines with pain in the right temporal or frontal region, with dizziness, nausea, and improves when lying down or sleeping. It features heavy periods and feeling worse before and after them.
Spigelia
Stabbing pain in the right side, extending to the face and arm. Worsens with movement and bending.
