Tuesday, July 6th, 2010

Did you know that the type of underwear women wear may actually contribute to cellulite? As odd as this sounds, it is true. Panties with tight elastic waistbands tend to limit the amount of blood flow to the buttocks. Since the dreaded cellulite is fat deposits that are just below the surface of the skin, blood flow to the area is important. While this may not help you if you are searching for how to get rid of cellulite, it may help prevent cellulite from forming in the first place.

Any woman using, or searching for cellulite treatment will naturally want to keep the cellulite from returning. Wearing underwear that is too tight at the waistband may bring the cellulite back, no matter how well the treatment works. Panties are too tight if they leave indentations in the skin once they are removed. Wider waistbands tend to have a better fit, not too loose, but not too tight.

While this may seem overly simplistic, sometimes it is the little things that can make a big difference. It certainty cannot hurt to try this tip. Of course, diet and regular exercise is important. Why pay big bucks for a cream to reduce cellulite, and then not do the free things that can help. No ream can work it’s magic if you are doing things that contribute to the formation of cellulite. Plus, it’s a good excuse to go buy all new underwear!
